This is the story of a dysfunctional Mafia family that builds on characters originally appearing in the HBO hit series “The Sopranos”. In these stories we will meet the women of the Soprano crime family, their lovers, friends, rivals and a few neighbors; all of whom are drawn into the web of lust, intrigue and sexfighting involving the women of the Sopranos.
Below, is a brief look at the main characters (and the name of the actress who plays them) followed by a list of all the stories in the ‘Fighting Sopranos’ series. As usual, click on an episode title to read the story.
Carmela Soparano (Edie Falco): Carmela is married to Tony Soprano, head of the Soprano ‘family’. Originally, Carmela saw Dr. Jennifer Melfi (Tony’s psychiatrist) as a rival for her husband, but then discovered Dr. Melfi had designs on Carmela herself. Their sexfights for dominance over one another are the stuff of legend (at least what passes for legend on our site!)
Dr. Jennifer Melfi (Lorraine Bracco): Dr. Melfi loves nothing more than sexually dominating another woman and her prize catch to date has been Carmela. But there’s more to their rivalry than meets the eye! Jennifer harbors a dark secret, an ancient grudge against the Sopranos that (at least in part) is driving her lust to dominate!
Meadow Soprano (Jamie-Lynn Sigler [Discala]): Carmela and Tony’s college age daughter. Now a lusty young woman, Meadow has sampled the world of sexfighting and, like her mother, has become addicted to the charms of Dr. Melfi! But Meadow too has an agenda and her path is littered with the bodies of women, both dominant and submissive, she has bedded - including her own mother!
Gloria Trillo (Annabella Sciora): A smart, beautiful career woman, Gloria met Tony in Dr. Melfi’s waiting room while they were both waiting for their appointment. Gloria switches allegiances like some women change their underwear so there’s no reason to think that just because she’s with someone today she’ll be with the same one tomorrow!
Charmaine Bucco (Katherine Narducci): Restaurant owner Artie Bucco’s ex-wife, Carmela’s “close friend” since high school; even slept with Tony before he married Carmela! For now, Charmaine is devoted to Carmela and is supporting her in their battles against Dr. Melfi. But will she still be loyal if/when Carmela no longer ‘needs’ her?
Adriana La Cerva (Drea De Matteo): Adriana is the girlfriend of Tony Soprano’s nephew Christopher whom he met while she was dancing (nude) at the Bada Bing! Smart and ambitious, Adriana is a slave to her own sexual impulses which often overrule her common sense. As one of “Tony’s Girls” Adriana has a certain stigma that makes Carmela not quite trust her fully, but makes Carmela eager to use and dominate Adriana as a way of establishing her superiority!
Janice Soprano (Aida Turturro): Carmela’s sister-in-law. Janice has become the heavyweight in Carmela’s ‘crew’ but she’s a lusty lady and isn’t above using her massive breasts as weapons if/when the situation demands. Janice is still ‘looking for love in all the wrong places’ but that hasn’t stopped her from joining Carmela’s crusade against Dr. Melfi…but does Janice have her own agenda?
Rosalie Aprile (Sharon Angela): The widow of the former NJ Syndicate head, smoky-voiced and tough talking. Rosalie’s compassion and common sense have made her Carmela’s valued friend and confidant. She is the “Queen Dowager” of the New Jersey rackets and while she’s a valuable ally, she can also be a cruel and vengeful enemy when angered!
Christina (Christina Applegate): Carmela’s next door neighbor and one of Dr. Melfi’s submissive girlfriends. Christina and Carmela shared confidences (and each other’s body) but when she discovered Christina was ‘seeing’ Dr. Melfi it came as a shock!
Theresa D'Agostino: (Brandy Burre): (from "The Wire" in a cross-over episode!) Political advisor to Baltimore City Councilman Carcetti in his run for Mayor. Known as a 'campaign fixer', Theresa may need help from Carmela and her 'crew' at some point.
Other ‘Sopranos’ cast members: Nicole Lupertazzi (Alison Dunbar); Joanne Moltisanti (Marianne Leone); Amy (Alicia Witt); Gabriella Dante (Maureen Van Zandt):
